This was a one-pager design project during my UX/UI studies. My goal was to give the self-design feature a central stage.
Although we weren't required to do a full case study for this project, only the UI, I tried to understand the target audience, their needs and behaves. I've made research on brands's social media and similar bike shops.

DESIGN
In designing the UI, I aimed to create a simple, logical, and intuitive customizer for a smooth and playful interaction. I used icons to visualize bike parts, making the process easier and more relatable. To ensure usability and easy navigation, I followed key UX heuristics: providing real-time feedback (Visibility of System Status), using universally recognized icons (Match Between System and the Real World), and maintaining consistency in design patterns (Consistency and Standards).

Colors: I chose vibrant and bold colors like purple, light blue, and orange because color plays a central role.
Typography: For the accent font, I chose "Lufga," a geometric sans serif family with unique characters for a touch of distinction. Simple yet sophisticated, modern, and versatile.
The body font is "Montserrat" - very concise, easy to read, clear, and highly flexible.

story
From little seeds great Mango bikes grow
In the immortal words of Freddie Mercury, “Get on your bike and ride!”.
That sums us up at Mango. We’re all about getting bums on seats and feet to pedals. No prior knowledge or uncomfortable lycra wedgies necessary.
Our warehouse is in the UK (Ballyclare, Northern Ireland) where we make and spray every bike to order before sending them out ready for you to ride off into the sunset. Or to work, whatever inflates your tyres. We know what you’re thinking though, “oh no, that sounds expensive!”.
Well, it isn’t.
Mango was originally created by two students who were sick to the back wheels of the clunky-geared manufacturing and distribution process in the cycling industry. So instead of filling their time with beer pong and daytime telly, they set to work cutting out the middleman, making bikes and selling directly to regular people like you.
And that’s how we ended up making no-nonsense, affordable custom bikes. It’s in our DNA.
